Meals for two :)

This is a sponsored review from BlogHer and Stouffer's.

So, I was thinking the other night about running to the store to get something for dinner. I thought I'll pick up something quick and easy. Then, I thought, why don't I just go get everything in one trip on Sundays?

I've got to get better at planning meals. I just do. Sometimes it's hard. I've always been one that something may sound good one minute and not as good the next. I often feel like I need options. Though we try to eat some fresh foods daily, it's not as easy to keep them around for when you are actually wanting the.

I'm also pretty bad about thinking, oh, I'll wait until Friday night to cook that. Like Friday night is really much different for us! We will enjoy a meal on Friday night just as much as we will on a Tuesday night! I guess for some reason I think if I cook something yummy it's going to take longer and doing it on a Friday night might be better, ya know in case it takes me hours into the night. At least I can sleep in Saturday, right? haha.

Then I got to thinking, I need to prepare things that taste delicious without taking me forever to make!  I think after being on my feet at work some during the day, the thought of just standing for an hour to prepare a meal seems draining.

I was hooked up to try the perfect option!
Stouffer's Saute's for Two seem to be a good fit for us! We tried the steak gorgonzola & the grilled chicken and asiago tortelloni.

They were quick and easy to make and delicious as though I spent a much longer time preparing the meal.

I guess the amount that two people eat can vary, but Brent and I paired our meals with a bread & salad. Those three combined made the meal feel pretty gourmet and filled us up! I especially liked the flavor in the grilled chicken and asiago tortelloni. The mushrooms snuck up on me when I emptied the bag into the skillet. Those weren't mentioned on the front of the bag, so I swiftly forked the chunks of them out!

To make any ordinary night become extraordinary, I love to prepare a fancy dessert. With the convenience of Stouffer's Sautes for Two, I'll have more time to prepare desserts and still have time to spend with my loved ones! How cool is that? :)

That's too funny, S handed all the mushrooms to be, but it took him a while to discover they were in there. Crazy since he claims he can taste a mushroom from a mile away!

Doing something that's ordinarily a weekend thing is how we make a weeknight special. Like a run to Home Depot. I know, really special, huh?

We like to plan little getaways. Even the little things like that make it extra special.

To turn an ordinary night to an extraordinary night.. me and my boyfriend like to cook together. We recently made breakfast burritos and they were amazing! Then we usually rent a movie or find something on Netflix to watch.

To make an ordinary night a special one my family will prepare our meal, serve our meal, eat our meal and clean it up TOGETHER! We have such crazy schedules that the one or two nights that both mommy and daddy are home is very special!

Now that we have a very active little one, we make our ordinary nights special by staying in and watching a movie or something after we put her to bed.
